Mercy Soccer Camp is led by Coach Alex Stryker, the varsity soccer coach at Our Lady of Mercy, where he has been inspiring young athletes for over 10 years. With a decade of coaching experience, Coach Stryker brings a wealth of knowledge, passion, and dedication to the game, fostering both skill development and a love for soccer in his players.

In addition to his role as a coach, he has been a history teacher at Our Lady of Mercy for the past 11 years, blending his love for teaching with his commitment to shaping young minds both on and off the field. As a proud local, Coach Stryker is deeply connected to the community and is committed to empowering the next generation of athletes.

Breast Cancer Coalition

Coach Stryker believes in using the sport as a platform for giving back. Under his leadership, the varsity team has participated in meaningful service projects, such as organizing a Breast Cancer Awareness Game to support The Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester.

School of Holy Child

Coach Stryker also invited the School of the Holy Child to join practices with the varsity and JV teams. These initiatives instill a sense of community, empathy, and teamwork in players, teaching them the importance of service both on and off the field.
